In 2009 Lynettefællesskabet I/S placed a contract with us for a new sludge incineration plant to be built at the sewage treatment works site in the south-east of Copenhagen.
The largest incineration plant in Denmark has set new environmental standards for both emission reduction and energy recovery. This modern plant treats the entire sludge at the Lynetten wastewater treatment plant. The engineering consultancy for the client has been assigned to the highly reputable international company Ramboll.
Design capacity: 2.35 t DS/h
Flue gas flow: 19,000 Nm³/h
Combustion air flow: 12,000 Nm³/h
Energy production / thermal oil boiler: approx. 3.8 MWh/h
Energy recovery flue / gas cooling stage: approx. 2.9 MWh/h
